Customer Testimonial:

The tiles we ordered just slip right into the existing configuration of the ceiling and we left the original panels in place to give us the
extra insulation. Two tiles fit into each panel. Around the sides of the ceiling where the panels are not full size, we are just now cutting down the Stratford style tiles to fit in to the space.

People can not believe how beautiful the ceiling is. Interestingly we had already painted the bead board on the bottom of the walls a green that is almost exactly the same color as the tiles we ordered!! We couldn't believe our luck. When you see the pictures of the room with the soft green ceiling matching the green bead board it is really stunning. This home is a 100 year old one room school house (added onto a bit) so we wanted to do something very special and a bit unusual. Love your product! We have even thought about ordering the same thing in the Merlot color for a change. We can swap out the green when we want a new look! Maybe later. As soon as we get the last of the tiles in I will send you some pictures. Please feel free to pass along my name and e-mail address to anyone that would like to hear first hand how terrific your product is! Reminds me a bit of the old tin tile look.

Thanks for the great tiles and keep up the good work. I will inspire my husband to get this done so we can show off!

Customer Testimonial:

First of all, I called the Ceilume company one evening after hours and happened to get an owner of the company on the phone. Such luck. I wanted a tile in the color sand, that was, according to the website, available only in white. He was so helpful, answering all of my questions and actually guided me toward a tile that was more border-appropriate than the one I'd chosen. He sent some pics to me of rooms that featured the tile I wanted. Thanks to Ed Davis!

As for the product, I can't say enough good things about the Ceilume tiles. I ordered both white and sand samples tiles. I didn't love the white. Packaging was excellent. Shipment reasonable because they're lightweight. My husband was initially a skeptic about the tiles, relenting only because I told him I could install them without his help. He deemed them "flimsy" tiles, but conceded that the project was a success after completion. Unless you're in-the-know you can't tell that they aren't heavy tiles.

I painted my existing ceiling grid with paint mixed to match the tiles, applying with a sponge paintbrush, and then did the entire installation (very simple) by myself in just about 3 hours. (using pre-existing grid) Where the cut, notched portion of the Electra border tiles meet the wall, just above the ceiling grid, there were unfinished spaces . My son came up with a plan for those unfinished spaces. I cut small pieces out of border-tile scraps and laid them between the tile and the wall where the notches are, hiding the wall. It was easy and gives the uniform appearance I was looking for.

Also, I loved the Medallion tiles but thought that they were too busy for a 13x13 room so I opted to use them as an accent instead. I even used, as a wall hanging, the Florentine tile that I'd ordered as a sample. I painted it, cut the edge off, and hung it using some braided leather. It looks like those expensive wall hangings that you'd see in a Ballard Designs catalog. Needless to say, I'm a satisfied Ceilume customer.

Customer Testimonial:

The tiles we put in were quite possibly the best improvement we've made to our store. The change in tiles was dramatic, and flat out amazing. I wish I had a before and after picture to show you the day and night difference. When people walk into the store now, the ceiling is the first thing they notice, where as before it was just the bland mineral fiber tiles that made the store filthy with dust.

The tiles worked perfectly, even the ones I had to cut to fit in tight spots. And the fact that your guys' ceiling tiles were at least 50% less than any other tile replacement options was just another reason to be happy. The tiles are absolutely amazing.

I was so impressed with your product and customer service that I'd recommend Ceilume tiles to anyone who would want to upgrade their dropped ceiling.
